What criteria do investors need to have to register the project with the Center?

Answer: To register an investment project at Tanzania Investment Centre an investor is required to invest a minimum of USD 500,000 (for foreign investors) and a minimum of 300,000 (for local investors).

 Thereafter an investor should have:

1. A registered company (Memorandum/Articles of Association and certificate of incorporation)
2. Evidence of land (title deed/lease agreement) in name of the company for location of a proposed project
3. Evidence of financing capital
4. Business plan/Feasibility study
5. TIC application form filled
6. Board resolution for project approval and need to register with TIC
7. Receipts of payment of USD 1100 (equivalent in Tshs) to TIC as a registration fee
8. A cover/Application letter addressed to The Executive Director, Tanzania Investment Centre, P. O. Box 938, Dar es Salaam
